I'd probably just fold preflop. Call me a NIT.

Sorry, thought it was UTG that was 16/1. I'd probably just shove the flop against MP.

can't believe there's a guy making 16/1 in 5k hands on this planet

you missed a 2? 16/12?

I'd check fold flop as I don't find much folding hands

super easy psh on the flop, you have fold equity, will get called by worse and when behind prob have 6 outs + BDFD.

c/f flop imo. You've got psb left, you've got zero fe vs. 77+ and it's unlikely he's gonna call w/ AQ and worse. Or if you think his range is wide enough that he's got hands like QJ/QT/KQ etc. in his range, then it's a c/c imo. But i don't see any value in a shove nor any fe vs. better.

lol wat

Easy push, even if his range consists of sth like TT-QQ, you have 28% equity, but he probably calls AQ and AJ, majority of hands, which probably fold flop.
If he has big aggr. factor I might go for c/c to get push from those.

I'd be rlyrly surprised if anyone calls you off with worse there. Also i do assume that this mss-guy is good and is not flatting this nit's open without 99+, AK and you're not in good shape vs. that. Also there's a chance that this mss-dude is smart enough to flat his nuts as well in this spot.

He's playing 16/1...

When someone is playing 16/1 the last thing you can call him is good or smart mss IMO.

Maybe he could flat KK, AA, but I think he reshoves then pre after sqz.

ohh, i'm a fish. I somehow thought that the utg was 16/1 :f_confused: Then i guess it's fine to shove, even though i still see merits in checking.

hmm, ok i am curious if c/c or shoving is better
advantages of c/c
-allows him to bluff and potentially get it in with worse
advantages of shoving
-does not allow him to check back which could result in a difficult situation on the turn
follow up question for u guy: if i decide to check and he checks back, whats my play on a blank turn?
One thing i dont think alot of u guys considered is that he has a 92% fold to 3bet (tho its true that PT3 fold to 3bet are pretty fucked up but this stilll means he has a eighty something true fold to 3bet), so his range is probally JJ+, AK (maybe AQ and TT or perhaps he made some spew call with some other random hand such as broadways).

I'd only c/c if his flop aggr. factor was really high.
If he then checked the flop, I'd just play c/f, he's only probably checking nuts there.

c/c flop so he jams his AQ AJ KQ w/e, snap ship turn if it goes check check, probably calls less hands than vs a flop jam imo. c/f Q turn tho? :P
ooor b/c like 10$ and shove turn if he just calls.

I'm shoving the flop all day.

Board: 9♦9♥6♠
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    67.97%  52.22%  15.75% { JJ+, AKs, AKo }
MP3    32.03%  16.29%  15.75% { AdKd }

We have great equity and if we can get him to fold smth like AK we're even happier about it.

I don't like the c/c because I don't really see any air hands in his range (probably not even AQ), so I want to maximize the chance of having FEQ.
