Had an absolute result last night! Thought I'd have a go at the $750 GP rebuy tourney on WH while i was watching the wimbledon final and, after 6 hours of what felt like I was playing the best poker of my life, I ended up beating 388 players and winning the thing!

$1.10 entry, 1$ rebuy and 1$ addon and ended up walking away with $278 (£180)! I withdrew half of that straight away cause I don't have a huge amount of money atm but it still boosted my BR from £77 to £163! Nothing like doubling your roll in 6 hours

I'm primarily a cash game player so now that I've got a bit more to play with, I might have a stab at NL5 and see how I get on.

Feeling like the king of the world (even though I'm probably still a massive :f_biggrin: )

Great feeling is a bit of an understatement lol. I've had so many people saying "Why do you waste your time playing poker? It's not like you really make any money from it" so it's gonna be nice to have a nice little 3 figure sum to wave under their noses :)

Love your blog btw :f_love:

Yeah, William Hill. Tbh I'm looking forward to clearing my $50 rake so I can move my roll over to stars cause I don't really like the software but if I keep winning like that, maybe I won't mind staying a little longer :P

Well Done

Congrats!! Hopefully more to come, I couldn't wait to clear my bonus on Will Hill and move on too due to the software.

I thought he'd paired his 4 or 6 so I was pretty delighted when he called my AI and I saw his hand. Then along comes old man river and sweeps my dreams away :(

Btw what is the standard hand conversion tool around here? This one is a bit ugly...

There is one on pokerstrategy.com (but I always look it up by googling pokerstrategy hand converter), but I use the one elephant provides (free tracking software).
