Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($100) VP:21/PFR:18/AF:3.6/WTSD:29
BB ($162)
Hero ($153)
UTG+1 ($64.80)
CO ($354)
BTN ($100) VP:21/PFR:16/AF:2.5/WTSD:30

Dealt to Hero Q♥ J♥

Hero raises to $3.50, fold, fold, BTN calls $3.50, SB calls $3, fold

FLOP ($11.50) J♣ 9♠ 8♦

SB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $7, SB folds, Hero calls $7

TURN ($25.50) J♣ 9♠ 8♦ 6♣

Hero checks, BTN bets $13, Hero calls $13

RIVER ($51.50) J♣ 9♠ 8♦ 6♣ A♥

Hero checks, BTN bets $47, Hero calls $47

Villains are 2 tagish regs.

I am not reallt sure if I should CBet or not. I am probably not going to get much to fold and I'd rather keep the pot small.
I put BU on a draw when he bets or maybe pair+SD type of hands.

The 6 doesn't really help him so I call again.

And then he bombs the A on river. Again with the range I gave him I don't really see how it helps him so I call. Also bc my perceived range is draws or pair + draw.

I think I'd block half pot size on river.

not too much AX in his range , but we could rep A9 A8s or sth
he would not raise with AX except AJ.

I don't think we can control the pot without a cbet while op,he could bet bet bet in a lot of situation。

I'd cbet flop, maybe we got few fold equity, but the cbet is not only for fold equity but also for value and information, and on this board I think I'm not afraid of a raise.

I don't understand the block bet on the river.
If we think that he doesn't have an A in his range it means that our hand is pretty much the nuts so I'd rather let him barrel again the river that making him fold all his crap.

The problem that I see with a CBet is that we get very little info bc he will call with loads of stuff.

What do you mean by "on this board I think I'm not afraid of a raise. " Do you mean that you would call or raise?

This does still not make sense because we'll still get called by Ax.

True, but his range looks a lot different because there are bluffs in there.

Generally I agree and my default is also to cbet. But if he raises I'm certainly folding because we're crushed.

We don't have specific information, but when he calls something like KQ we're very happy about it because we've just been valuebetting vs Khigh.

All in all I think c/calldown is possible especially since we have the Q, so the T is no scarecard for us.

When he bets that big on the river it's very interesting, the question is wether he just wants to make it big so we have a harder decision, or if he tries to represent a polarized range whereas in actuality he's even betting AT here to get those thin calls from Jx.

Since you can argue both ways imo it's fine to call, but a fold is certainly an option as well.
Once more it depends on your opponent wether you can call, vs an unknown my default would be c/f because once more I assume people don't bluff too much.
