I was new to the table and had no information about players, but imo villain was TAG player. After his re-raise it says that there is something big .. The question here is - did i make a mistake calling this re-raise? According to me in the long term in such a situation, such stacks and holding a pair like 22-JJ and some TAG 3-bets me i will call, because with such a stack i can afford it to hit a set here as the situation above. If villain is Loose aggressive or i have seen him bluff directly to 3bet ALL in, but for this player i had no info, so I decided to pay and wait to hit a set.
We were left 52 people.
Is my call wrong?

yea I fold or shove pre if he is lag
u dont have good odds and u wont hit set as often
if effective stacks were like 80k+ deep imo is ok to call cos u'll stack him almost always when u hit set

Fold pre regardless if villian is TAG or LAG. Shoving is just spew.

Calling is btw the worst option, you hit your set way to unfrequently.

Imo, standard fold.

You raise UTG, even very LAG player will not 3bet you lights in that spot, since you perceived range is tight.

Calling is the worst option, you will be stuck C/F almost any flop and with
~ 2 x pot size bets left eff., not a lot of room to maneuver and no odds for set mind.

I agree with Amplifyd, imo 4bet is just spew in that spot.

absolutley standard fold. you don't get setodds and 66 plays absolutely horrible oop. as played obv easy broke. but without real reads (especially when your new to the table) i fold my hand here!
