Would you fold turn vs unknown (single table, if matters)?

bet more on the flop (300) cos imo you will often get a lot of people call flop, fold turn in this situation so I want more immediate value.

On turn his line reeks of a set - and I don't see myself beating that much so I like to bet/fold.

Actually, I don't see any hand that raises the turn that we have beat.

Yes, I also don't see much we beat here.

Only Jc9c, 9c8c may make some sense, if he is aggressive but, I do not have any history with him, plus is really small portion of his range (even if it is there).

Plus from his bet sizing it looks more like 8s, 6s, 5s, Ts, or some two pair hand than a semi-bluff.

I folded also, just wanted a second opinion.
