when i'm trying to calculate equity against an opponent i generate their range by entering their VPIP. but the problem is when i want to figure out their raising range... for example i typed in VPIP 66 and i got the following range on the matrix...

that's all well and good, but i want to know his raising range from within this range, so i typed in his PFR stats which were 26, and then this happens...

i don't uderstand why the stronger hands are taken away - surely he is raising with these ones. if the hands which are taken away = his raising range then fine, but why not just exclude the rest of the range and leave the raising range alone? i feel a little confused..

Just write 26% in the VPIP window. And then you can see he`s range.

When u enter his PFR basically you are escluded all the hands that he will raise and leave you with all the range that he will just call (calling range = VPIP - PFR) and it will be a good idea to just enter the VPIP as suggested by Aerox to visualise the complete range.

Hope that has helped! :)
