I ask for a friend:
The hand
I'm in a tournament with pocket 7's on the button. After I called 600 big blind, I'm left with 9,300 units.Small blind raises to all-in with 3,700, big blind calls and the other 2 people in the hand call.
So there is 15,400 in the pot and it's up to me to act. I have about 15 big blinds.
My thoughts
I think about it for a while, but I"m pretty sure I'm behind and I need to hit my set to win. So I folded despite the money odds in my favor. I thought about going all-in preflop, but with so much money already invested I'm pretty sure the other three would call me.Question: Did I make the right move?
BTW my 7's would have held up. The small blind had pocket Jacks and hit here Jack on the flop and a 7 came on the turn and on the river.
