Shoud I play diferently?

Bet more on the river. If he is going to call you at all here he will call you for more. ~0.80.

You might also consider c-betting the flop. He doesn't fold pocket pair on this board.


Depending on your image you might want to go either with valuebet, valuebet, valuebet or check/call, check/call, shove / check/shove.

Btw, strictly speaking you don't have the nuts because a 5-9 straight flush of diamonds is possible ;).

Hello mylove190207,

While you are OOP just make it easy and simple bet yourself! It's just horrible if you take such a line while you can face often Check behind here. If he doesn't have a hand he wont pay you anyways much. You don't even have to bet very big the flop just bet ~$0,25 and might even induce him to raise you and at the same time avoids him Checking behind.
