I'm never really sure what to do with an overpair on the turn. If I bet on the turn I feel like I'm committing myself to the pot so I check behind and try to get a cheap showdown. When the K♣ comes I don't see how a weaker hand can pay me so I check behind. If a safe card comes I think I should bet again on the river?

no need to be scrared you are loosing a lot of value here!!! plus you are giving a lot of free cards with a flush draw on the board!!

bet the turn for value and protection you are far ahead most of the times

Hello DesertStingray,

Why ain't ya betting the turn? You still need to protect your hand, there are a lot worse hands in his range which may pay you.

Best Regards.
