I made the call on flop based in implieds, is this the correct way to go? Usually I would give up the hand, but he is going to pay me when I do hit the hand. The turn call is maybe a bit much?

Flop: This is pretty much bad flop for your hand. Your opp looks loose, so he might have some pair or he may have higher end of SD, some 9x hand. If you think he's shutting down on the turn, you might call it here but I don't like your call here.

Turn: He bets it strong here so I would give him this range:

Board: 8♥7♠6♣ 6♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
BU     16.39%  16.32%   0.06% { 5s5c }
SB     83.61%  83.55%   0.06% { 99-66, A8s-A7s, K8s-K7s, Q8s-Q7s, J8s-J7s, T7s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A8o, K8o, Q8o, J8o, T8o+, 98o, 86o+, 76o }

...so my decision would be easy. Also, it's a paired board so our straight might not even be good if we hit it.

Hello RasTweet,

You can't really base on the implied odds on flop while you could be already against bigger straights, you wont be sure what kind of outs are clean for you. Rather just give it up right on flop, no point to Call. Even if you Call then you should definitely lay it down no turn, no implied odds there anymore.
