Final Pot: 7650

Results follow:
Hero shows a straight, jack high (9 ♣, 7 ♥) → (J ♠, T ♦, 9 ♣, 8 ♠, 7 ♥)

In future post multi table tournament hands in it's own area. It's fine to post sng-mtt(games starting after certain amount of players has joined) hands. You will get better/more answers as well. 517 players is mtt :)

But on hand itself. I would lead this flop with bet of ~500. When you check you can't really check-call such big bet. Stack is just too shallow for that. Also when villain bet this big I would not expect him to be planning bet-fold versus one opponent so check-shove is not good option, but it is still better than to just check-call. Turn play itself and check-shove is best.

Villain is just bad bad player. If he would be stealing and raising preflop, Ffne. Versus tight blinds that is. But limping...

think if I was the bu , would shove this preflop , his play post flop is pretty bad

as for how you played it , dont mind the check on flop or bet , as played on turn , check/raise looks realy strong , his J is not beating much so think youre lucky to get a call , prefer to call turn & shove river , looks more like a float & more chance to be called

with double gutter i like to check/raise allin on the flop. you have the perfect stacksize for it.
call is by far the worst alternative. you don't get the right odds and you don't enough implieds for calling it!

I don't like pre shove either with your hand since its not so strong. i would probably shove it suited since it gives you a few% more if you get called.
