Should I have bet the turn as well here?

SB bets $1, Hero calls $1.

Turn: ($4.25) 7[:diamond:] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($4.25) Q[:diamond:] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, SB calls $2.

Final Pot: $8.25

You must raise flop because there are a few draws out there.

A continuation has a good chance of him folding on the turn.

After that would it be a check behind on the river, what if it was a club? or just the queen of diamonds?
