I think it's nice. You rep a strong range with lots of pairs and Ax in it and he shouldn't really expect you to fold Ax to a river donk. If he wanted to bluff with a flushdraw, he'd probably checkraise the flop or the turn.

agreed. I think this is often a call against a fish, but things change quite a bit against a TAG.

For instance, he will often call this donk bet against a fish, and since fish usually make the bet he's usually calling this donk. The times he takes this line he'll often have exactly the kind of hand you have.

If he thinks your a tag he might expect you to call river donks like this as well and might value bet wide (any 7x, weak Qx, 8x, maybe 66- with spades). His donk would perhaps be to avoid a negative freeroll or a free show down.

I agree to this. This looks quite like a antifreeshowdown donk or improve with 8x. Even with a weak flushdraw he could have just check/called with 8x since he's not a big favourite against utg continuing Range / bet/call - Range.
