$10.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

CO: $20.04 - VPIP: 39, PFR: 27, 3B: 4, AF: 3.6, Hands: 119
BTN: $18.43 - VPIP: 39, PFR: 0, 3B: 0, AF: 0.6, Hands: 54
SB: $1.60 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 21, 3B: 14, AF: 5.8, Hands: 508
Hero (BB): $16.92
UTG: $10.23 - VPIP: 16, PFR: 12, 3B: 8, AF: 2.9, Hands: 289
MP: $8.51 - VPIP: 39, PFR: 8, 3B: 0, AF: 2.0, Hands: 36

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with J  J :club:
UTG raises to $0.35, MP calls $0.35, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.25

Flop: ($1.10) 9 :spade: 9 :diamond: T :spade: (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.65, MP calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.65

Turn: ($3.05) 5 :diamond: (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP bets $2.00, Hero ?

I dont like to 3b preflop, because UTG is so tight and I don't mind playing with a fish postflop.
UTG's cbet is small and I don't put him on a hand here. Should I be willing to raise on the flop or turn and get it in, or try to x/c it down?

Hello kaarols,

Most likely I'd prefer Betting myself on the flop to avoid any kind of Check-backs and then having exactly such a spot. I'd Bet the flop and then reevaluate it on further actions, either to Bet the turn or not and how many opponents we have and if UTG is still in the pot.

But as played against MP range I might even Check/Call once while you went for such a passive line, he may easily Bet there even with Tx.

Best Regards.
