i prefer to bet out on this flop.

but yes, i think direct all-in is ok. raising to 50$-60$ is suspicious

i'd like to just call on the flop
let the others bet on the turn or river with a overpair or overcard
then,i can win a very big pot:)

mm... coldcall is so suspicious though.

and i do think we should valueraise/protect against the obvious straightdraws here.

I'd bet/push here. If you check, I'd reraise all-in.

calling is worse multiway here ... because there are a lot of cards that will kill action on the turn . i try to check raise all in if i know he will bet

i call/minraise because if i push here they have a way to easy fold.

C/ai we only play with a set, I dont think we have the image
to let the villians asume we do this as a bluff or with 88 98.

But depence on the villians maybe they are stupid

whaa minraise.

can explain situations where you do minraises? and situations where you can effectively cover these up?

I'm not sure that's the best line here. Hands BU raises with are probably 66, 99, 78, 89, 67, 88, and if he's a fish, then overpairs and T8 as well. You're giving great odds to any draw, making your hand hard to play (since we're OOP) if the turn comes 5, 8 or T and in those cases missing value from 2 pair etc. imo if you check it's better to raise, or push directly. I'd probably donk/raise though

my first thought was, a push does not get called.
But now i am not sure.

But let me explain the minraise (40-55$ )

Bu plays a weiro line, looks like garbish minraising a draw
in a 3 waypot?!

if i minraise the minraise and someone calls i have him comitted.

Bu is fishy so i think he will call (maybe ui Trash or a low pocket pair)
else he would have folded these hands.
if mp3 does not know me he may call to see that the fish does at the turn.

is it an exploitable play though? i mean do we have to cover it up with minraising anything other than hard hits at times?

I agree that a c/rAI is rarely called by anything but 2pair+, set, straight, so you'll usually pick up the pot right there.
I also agree with min-raising (or raising small, whatever) in position, but out of position I'd rather get the money in on the flop, because even though there's only ~24% chance a scare card (say, 5, 8 and 10) comes on the turn, it's harder to play and imo you'll lose a lot of EV, since you'll lose value against hands you already beat on the flop, and you'll have to pay off the bigger ones.
I guess here after the check, I'd raise to maybe 60$ or so, since we're also committed, but give less good odds, and I don't think it increases our fold equity much compared to a min-3bet, especially against fish...
I'm pretty sure most players would raise with a pair+draw here. Probably not with a pure draw, like A8 etc, but the hands I listed in my above post seem quite likely imo. So knowing that you'll often be raised by these hands, I'd rather bet/raise (push) here.

@ chenny: if you've seen the "CiB thread" on 2+2, that should answer your question

if you minraise there with very strong hands you have to balance it by minraising some shity air (i dont know if nl100 people are smart and can realize you have an unbalanced range there ) otherwise your minraise will represent very very strong hands and they will fold (depends on the quality of the players )
