Absolute Life Poker Toronto 30/60, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop | saw showdown

Button (1290)
SB SB (1580)
BB Hero (1460)
UTG (2860)
UTG+1 (1400)
MP MP (1620)
CO-1 CO-1 (1990)
CO (2800)

Preflop: Hero is in the BB with 5 :spade: 9
2 folds, MP calls 60, CO-1 calls 60, 2 folds, SB calls 30, Hero checks.

Flop (240) 5  3 :spade: K :spade:
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks, CO-1 checks.

Turn (240) Q :spade:
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks, CO-1 checks.

River (240) 9 :club:
SB checks, Hero bets 80, MP raises to 180, CO-1 calls 180, 1 fold, Hero calls 100

Hero shows 5 :spade: 9
MP shows 4 :spade: A :spade:
CO-1 shows 9 :diamond: 4 :diamond:

MP wins 780 with Flush (Spades) with Ace high

That call is ok, or not? If someone raised the turn, i'd have folded, but making two pair on the river justifies the call imo.

I guess I would have played it the same way. but after you being raised maybe you maybe should have let it go. it were two pair but it wasn't a strong hand

don't show results cause then you have these clouded judgements :P.

bet more on the river (~160) to get value from idiots like CO, but if i'm getting raised after that bet then i fold.

as played, i call.
