Hi there. I'm 22 years old, I'm from a small town in Russia called Almetyevsk. I started playing poker online in October 2011 blablabla.

Overall profits graph (2011.10.17 - 2012.03.02):

2011 October (-$2.43 :f_mad: ):

Spoiler

Got my $50 from pokerstrategy to partypoker and started learning on playmoney tables + trying some daily freerolls. Placed 19th in one of them and got like $0.30 or something, was very proud of myself :f_p:
Then on the 17th of October I switched to cash games, started from NL2 FR SSS with 30bb on Partypoker. 1-2 tables. Preflop allins with AJo vs 2% 3bets

2011 November (+$10.35 :f_p: ):

Spoiler

Played my 1st 10k hands in online poker and moved to FL0.02/0.04 FR.

2011 December (-$3.53 :rage: ):

Spoiler

I did like FL, but the game was not as popular as NL, which is sad. So I would have to leave it at some point anyway. So after 20k hands I moved back to NL2 FR and tried MSS strategy.

2012 January (+$27.25  ):

Spoiler

Couldn't play much in the beginning of the year because of the holidays but still managed to accumulate 70 hours of play. Ended the month with 11evbb/100 winrate over almost 12k hands _cool: Played only MSS for the whole month.

BR by the end of the month: $81.99

2012 February (+$18.10  ):

Spoiler

blablabla
Giraffe:

Sessions:

Other stats by stakes:
BR: $100.09

The mss charts including the post flop are only guidelines to help get you started, you have to build your game from this point, its not written in stone, try Gerv's coaching on sunday, he takes it to many levels above the shc and post flop charts.

If you know a players range and tendencies then you can exploit him too :)
If he expects you to always fold then maybe you should push
Watch gerv and see how he takes notes and uses them to his advantage.

Hope this helps :)

roopopper, I attended 1 of his MSS coachings once. What can I say - his play differs A LOT from the original MSS beginner charts. And + somehow he manages to find all those fishy tables with loose 42/20 stats (table stats, not 1 opponent stats) in partypoker. All I see in nl2 is 9/5, 12/8, etc. 25/15 table for me is like "OMG WOW FINALLY I FOUND SO LOOSE TABLE, WILL PLAY HERE TILL I FALL ASLEEP ON THE KEYBOARD" :f_thumbsup:

I also see that my redline (hm1) is always higher than the blue one. The blue line doesn't know what to do, so it just does whatever it wants:

But Gerv in the end of his coaching said that MSS profit comes from the blue line and redline is somewhere near zero. Or maybe not, but at least that's what I understood from his words.

I advise you to just improve your play instead of focusing on blue/red lines ;)

it mostly means you want to force yourself in fixing something in an unorthodox and possible a marginalEV way

After playing 1-6 tables without table selecting I recently switched to only 1-2 tables with very careful table selecting. Only played in position to crazy guys with VPIP 60+. And what do you think was the result?
53 EV bb/100 in avg for all 3 sessions. Yes, fifty three EV big blinds per 100 hands!

And the graph (click the image):

Of course a huge part of the winrate is obviously an upstrick, but anyway I'm so proud _cool:

Played ~4 tables + was completely ignoring the chart + was 3betting 1% PFR guys with AK/QQ  Of course they won't fold their AA/KK.

MSSers UNITE!

Hey man just found your blog, definitely need to make a sick title that catches the eyes of the fair maidens of the land.

Will follow your progress, I'm currently finding MSS pretty nice after 3k hands. Going to need to grind it up some more before I get too crazy about it, but good luck! you wanna discuss the finer points of NL2 MSS let me know :f_biggrin:

GOOD LUCK!

Garet
