My initial inclination and standard play is to bet/fold here, but talked myself into believing villain may bluff raise pot here with any strongish low draw + overpair (A3/A5/23). I think this is wrong and I'm mostly getting my money in:

v 8*** where I'm at 31% equity.

Standard.

You're only crushed by A38x type hands. I would imagine you're either good for low or high on this flop so you have to shove. It's not that likely villain has an 8 here especially after the preflop raise which puts him on an ace plus low card and two others.
