Hello BGawli,

Against him I'd rather ship myself than river my hand into bluff-catcher vs missed draws. There ain't even that many missed draws, only FD. So if in this case I'd be even Checking then rather Check/Fold, you don't even know if the opponent is capable of betting with missed draws or not. Your line was already strong in 3bet pot and they wont bluff so often vs you.

Best Regards.

I'm just interested in why you want to ship the turn but you don't want to play x/c? where is the difference? In both situation lose money...

I am either shipping vs weaker Ax hands or just Check/Folding the river. You will rarely see people even going for draws in 3bet pots and especially if the opponent is rather picky and doesn't go to showdown a lot. Only value you get from missed FD and that's it on which we can't even be sure.

so why do you want to ship? do you see in this range worse Ax?
what about turn? as you wrote.. you dont see a lot people drawing so maybe I should have given up this hand just on the turn?

I am betting the turn for free showdown and protection. ;)

Why do you want to Call the river? :) Same question to you.

maybe because I'm moron who don't want to be bluffed... it was hard to fold TPGK in 3B pot...

you showed two lines=>> ship river or x/f and I don't understand difference between it :(
Because when our opp has busted draw he won't call our ship...
when we ship... and we have two option lose money or win money
by x/calling we are able to catch bluffs...

You wont see bluffs in 3bet pots that often. :) And that's practically the only hope for you right now to see missed draw.

so it looks like pretty sick spot...
so x/c is out of question because he will have never seen bluffs in 3B pot...
so why do you want to ship river?
because:
we are pot committed?
we have to strong hand to play x/f?
we can get value from worse hands?

or maybe x/f would be the best play because after two big bets on the flop and river we are in bad shape and probably we are behind...

sorry for that I'm asking so much question but you know... bad run because of spots like this...

I didn't say I want to ship the river. :) I said I want to Check/Fold the river myself since I see only value by Check/Calling there vs missed FD, although we don't even know that much the opponent if he is capable of doing that. Most likely he is also Checking even behind with a lot weaker Ax hands.

But meanwhile if we consider him having such a range as missed FD or even Ax hands then rather just ship yourself and gain value from Ax hands.
