Hi,

i have never seen villain donk before, so i don't know anything about his range. Would you in general recommend to delay the action to the turn on such a relatively dry board?

Hello HughJazz82,

Preflop: Raise to 4xBB.
Postflop: Seems to be fine and protect your hand. :) He may easily donk with draws or even weaker pairs there.

Best Regards.

Standard openraise size from CO/BU is 3 BB, isn't it? However, i raise any hand from CO/BU to only 3 BB, so at least there is no balancing leak if you're thinking of that.

Nah, on those limits I would raise it for value. You don't have to balance anyways with the raise sizes with strong hands. ;)
