villian is a reg 26/18/7 for 2.2k hands filtered. He is 3bet happy and we have some history

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $30(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,672)
BB ($2,463)
Hero ($1,980)
CO ($2,025)
BTN ($1,860)

Dealt to Hero K♥ A♥

Hero raises to $90, fold, fold, fold, BB raises to $290, Hero raises to $1,980 (AI), BB calls $1,690

how would u plat this spot? I was thinking about flating his 3b pre, but i just jammed. I pretty much dont like the shove and i was wondering how would u playd this i mean do u stack off pre?

what does '3b happy' mean?

In position we can certainly call. If he 3b more than 10% and always to this size (3.2x oop) then obv it's ok to get it in pre.

Normally one would expect BB vs utg to be a less 3b happy position so he is more likely to be strong here. In which case calling looks better.

I mean, what does this equate to, as a range? Someone who 3b 4% but 5% vs you or s/one with 3% but 12% vs you?

filtered he has smthin like 7-8 for 5m. I dont expect them often to 3b BB vs UTG with crap, but some of the regs do that too. Also against this one he has stacked off against me light couple of times CO vs SB and CO vs BB with 77 and AQ for 45-50BB eff.

do you really think he 3bets your 1st pos open wide? i dont see regs doing this . for that reason i like flatting and floating most flops -> playing the turn.

as played, 666/call or just shove. no difference.

its different if you raised CO. but i think vs a HJ open he might be much tighter. i play it cautiously. BUT you have AKs 50bbs deep in a 5max game vs an aggro reg. getting it in isnt a mistake
