I think I played ok until the river. on the river the flush hits and he checks to me and I'm not sure what to do. I just couldn't check back although I wasn't sure what would call me except an Ace. What do I do if he shoves her against an unknown? I mean, is he shoving an A here? or if he shoves is a bluff or flush, even a weird straight with 52?

I would also Bet the River. Even there is not so much that can Call but Villains like to call light.
If he ReShoves I think its a Fold. Depends on Villain if he plays his FD aggro or passive, and if he thinks your RiverBetSize looks weak. But usually I think its a Fold to a ReShove at the River.

I think preflop, flop, turn are all fine.

River is definitely close, I lean towards checking back over betting. It depends on whether he is capable of stationing off with a 4 or 3, or some PPs that don't 3bet pre. A4 or A3 definitely calls river. If you do bet, I think your river sizing is good, and fold to a shove.
