This was a hand I played live last night, I've tried my best to make it a readable format :rolleyes: Apologies

I don't know everyone elses stacks, but the whole table was at least £100, I can remember Villains + my own though.

Villain is a good player, rather tight from the hands I'd seen.

BB: £100 (100 bb)
UTG: £100 (100 bb)
MP: £100 (100 bb)
MP2: £100 (100 bb)
Hero (CO): £125 (125 bb)
BTN: £100 (100 bb)
SB: £150 (150 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A :club:K :club:
UTG folds, MP calls £1, MP2 calls £1, Hero raises to £7, BTN folds, SB calls £7, 3 folds.

Flop: (£16) A :spade:8 :diamond:J :spade:
SB checks, Hero bets £13, SB calls £13

Turn: (£42) 6 :diamond:
SB checks, Hero bets £27, SB rasies to £61, Hero folds

Again, some of the bets may be slightly out, I cant quite remember

Nh imo.
After he calls pre his range isn't too wide, it might include some SCs and PPs, but imo small PPs don't c/c the flop - so in order for us to be ahead after he checkraises he'd need to checkraise smth like QJs, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s or KQs with FD (others c/f the flop I think).
The only reasonable hands of those are T9s and KQ with a FD (2 combinations).
Since he has AJ, JJ, 88 in his range it's ok to b/f.

One last thing: Be aware of the c/c-c/r line. Basically nobody balances it - once somebody c/c the flop he usually either traps, draws, or has medium SD value.

The draws and SD-value don't checkraise the turn because they were afraid of our strong range in the first place and esp the SDvalue usually doesn't even consider checkraising.

So his range is basically filtered for the very strong hands, which allows us to b/f a lot - especially smth like TPTK.

Variance giveth and variance taketh away.
