UTG: $19.40
CO: $44.50
BTN: $8.70
SB: $49.10
Hero (BB): $24.30

Pre-Flop: K♦ A♦ dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG raises to $0.85, CO raises to $2.90, 2 folds, Hero calls $2.65, UTG folds

Flop: ($6.75) 4♥ 5♠ 9♦ (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: ($6.75) 9♣ (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.10, CO calls $4.10

River: ($14.95) 2♠ (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $37.50 and is All-In, Hero folds

Villain was 23/19/8 over 200 hands. How the hell should this hand be played?

As played, I almost called river.

I don't like your call with AK preflop. Partly because you are oop, partly because you have no initiative and you said he was super agressive and partly because UTG open raised and is still in the pot. Either 4 bet which wouldn't be that bad against CO stats but you still have to worry about UTG. Or you can fold. I'm tending towards fold but depends on UTG's PFR from UTG.

4bet preflop & conti betting this flop texture is pretty horrible, especially without the initiative. What are we trying to fold on the turn? We are getting called by better hands and folding out worse.

It is 3-bet flop
If it was 4-bet flop then hero had less than potsize and given fold equity I would shove.
I like to 4-bet pf, since it is SH and you don´t hit your A or K enough to make 3-bet call profitable+ you have very large fold equity. Mostly players would fold or shove against your 4-bet and I then you can call his shove, since they would also shove with QQ+, AK.
AS played- don´t understand why you bet out on the turn.
Seems like trap to me- player who 3-bet pf, why he would check on dry board and if he has AK, you can maybe check it down.
