Villain is 23/20 AF 4.2 WTSD 29 600+ hands

One of my biggest issues is putting people on a hand so to be honest I didnt think about it until his raise on the turn but here was my line of thought

1. Standard Cbet on flop his call no surprise as his fold to cbet is 20%
2. When he raises my 2nd barrel I am surprised but I raised preflop so I discounted 85, 53. I dont think that he will raise here here with 55, 88 or a flushdraw so I elect to call rather than raise but for now I am thinking he might have some weird Kx flush draw or set
3. When he fires the river I don't think that its a missed FD and figure than it has to be a set but cant bring myself to raise as either I am a genius or a donkey

Today I was a genius, or was I?

Hello Rastlin1,

I would be just 3betting the turn and trying to get it in. :) He might still have even there some draws himself from we need to protect rather than give him free cards. Plus of course he may easily have worse sets 44/66/77. :)

If he doesn't have a hand he wont pay you on the river anyways without hitting.

Best Regards.
