Hi PLO forum, this is my first post here. In a 10 man PLO DON, I saw this situation:

MP2: 1,510 (10.1 bb)
MP3: 2,475 (16.5 bb)
CO: 780 (5.2 bb)
BTN: 2,535 (16.9 bb) (27/4/0.0/26)
SB: 2,970 (19.8 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,920 (12.8 bb) (54/40/15.6/530)
UTG+2: 1,430 (9.5 bb)
MP1: 1,380 (9.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T♦ 6♥ K♣ A♣
5 folds, BTN calls 150, SB completes, Hero checks

Flop: (450) 8♣ 3♣ J♥ (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 225, BTN calls 225, SB folds

Turn: (900) 6♦ (2 players)
Hero bets 450, BTN calls 450

River: (1,800) Q♣ (2 players)

Hero?

Having hit my nut flush, should i continue betting? I checked in the hope of a inducing a bluff, but is this optimal play?

Have a little think about what your opponent might have. Given you have both the ace and king of clubs, a flush is less likely. However villain just called on the flop or turn so I don't see him having a set or 2 pair.

A straight draw would be the most likely thing for me on this river and he has definitely just improved on the end. He has showdown value so has no reason to bet this river as a worse hand than a straight isn't calling. The only hand that does bet this river is a Queen or Jack high flush draw (which probably calls if you bet anyway).

I would be jamming this river and praying villain looks me up with a straight. Now if the river was a 2♣ then I would be fine checking this river and hoping the busted straight draw takes a shot.
