Does checking on the flop in the hope of someone betting make sense here or should I have made a fairly large bet straight away to protect against draws as the board is so wet?

Should I have been more weary of my opponent having hit a flush on the turn and folded?

well played. flop really is draw heavy so a raise is a must. I also like check on the turn because if we bet and he shoves then whats our action? On the river its check/fold since we can only beat A :club:Jx but were lucky enough to hit the card we needed so well played.

Hi all,

5-ways on the flop I would just lead it, we can't rely on people to bet it for us. I would make it 200 on the flop. As played I would check/raise to 220 or so. On the turn I like how you played it, if it was heads up I would just bet it myself for value. River I like also. In case he has 98 or KQ we want to stack him, if he has a flush he always shoves anyway. We only lose value from Tx.
