In-game. No particular reads on SB being a serial limper.

Flop play? I have a marginal kicker on a drawy board. However, it's vs DO...

Yeah, I call. He is our direct opponent, we have top pair in a blind battle and we both are very short. He can stick it in with plenty of draws + some worse paired hands.

i guess id call the flop as well, although close my eyes likely doing it :)

what abt shoving ATC pre? two reasons - he's our direct opponent + his limp looks super weak (unless we've got reads that he's gonna trap here often)

I am bit confused with his stats tbh. He seems like a tight fish that will trap from time to time BvB. 42 hands is not a great sample , although I am still a bit worried. I think checking pre is a bit better because of the possibility of him trapping(which includes non-pair hands as well) + I am not sure how great our FE is. I usually won't push total trash, because fish tends to l/c a wide range. Fish is also passive and will complete-check-fold the flop often enough imo and this is the safer way to steal the pot. His stats really worry me though.

Anyway, once he overbet jams the board, I exclude sets, straights, 2 pair combos from his range quite often. We are also short and get like 41-2% odds or so? He is our direct opponent and I think folding top pair here seems a bit weakish readless. Even an overpair or top pair I think he bets big/call to induce draws. He might however sometimes do this with these hands as he is scared of the board. I think his line is draw +- weaker pair much more often than a stronger made hand that he overprotects.

As a conclusion, given that he is our direct opponent, ICM tax will be much smaller, however, we are still on the bubble and have to be careful. It's not a great spot indeed with no FE. Close probably, but I still make the call. I've seen fishes do this w AQ/AK as well because they scared/pissed their plan didn't work and want to take the pot down now.
