Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.04 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K:c, 3:c.
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, BU folds, Hero calls, BB raises, MP1 calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) K:s, 9:d, 7:d (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP1 calls, CO calls.

Turn: (5.5 BB) Q:d (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (8.5 BB) K:d (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, CO bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 11.5 BB.

Here I flop a top pair and bet. The turn couldnt be worse, flushdraws are complete now and potential flushdraws are now out there as well, so I go into calldown mode. The thing is should Ive bet on the turn? because I would have called 1 bet anyway.
And then the river makes things worse, should Ive folded there instantly or was it ok to call

Hi!

Like you said you should bet turn. By checking here you do very little good. All better hands will valuebet you and pretty much all worse will check behind(well maybe Qx will bet)+you will give huge amount of potential freecards...so you should definatelly bet.

If you get called then you should bet all blank rivers as well on this one you should check vs 2 and decide after...if it goes like b/call then fold is easy(someone has flush almost for sure. If it goes bet/fold or check/be I would be inclined to call hoping someone is spewing since pot is big and they are obviously bad players.

If you get raised on turn then you can argue calldown on blanks but I would actually just fold right away. These are very passive, your kicker doesnt play and its very unlikely they will spew-raise with worse made hand....so b/f is my turn line
