Hello everyone. I am also from South Africa like a few others. I have been playing Poker for 2 years but have never been really good. However I have started to take the game more seriously and have read some good books like Harrington on Holdem 1&2 and Super System 2. I think my game have improved a lot but I still need to work on my bankroll management. I saw and add for this site on another poker site and being a typical gambler I never turn down free money or information.

So thanks for the nice starting capital guys. I hope that someday I can turn it into a lot more. Right now I'll stick to the $1 Tourneys. I'm not much of a cash player.

Always good to see new faces around here Just make sure you stick to the strategies especially the BRM and you'll surely succeed! Btw check out the Blog section and maybe start your own to keep us updated.

I'm from South Africa too. From Cape Town.

I've also been reading a lot on here and applying it to games on Piggs. This is a great site. I look forward to more visits here

Maybe we should see if we can hook up for some live action sometime, dont get to play much DECENT live poker !

Hi! I just joined PokerStrategy and it's great to see so many South Africans. I live near Cape Town in Somerset West. I can't believe how great pokerstrategy is! I've already learned a lot.

welcome at PokerStrategy. You can get the starting capital only once what means only on one partner site. So be careful with it.
Spend as much time as possible on learning the theory.
