maybe lead out for 1/2 on the flop? or min raise it or something?

I did get a decent bet in on the turn.
I didn't dare check it and have him minbet again or check back.
guess the river bet was not small enough. or he just had nothing.

Hi,

I would prefer c/r flop myself. Players would not b/f there overpairs and you should make sure all the money goes in.
Betting turn yourself is fine and betting river also. But I would make river smaller bet- he does not have there strong hand and I don´t think he is going to call down larger bet than 0.5-0.6$
