Hey folks.

Poker Stars $3.19+$0.31 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t300/t600 Blinds + t50 - 4 players

CO: t6271 M = 5.70
BTN: t8940 M = 8.13
Hero (SB): t8906 M = 8.10
BB: t3540 M = 3.22

Pre Flop: (t1100) Hero is SB with K :spade: Q :diamond:
1 fold, BTN raises to t8890 all in, Hero???

Villain seems like a decent reg, don't have that many hands on him. According to Wiz, this is a fold, but according to Nash, it's an easy call.

What do you think and how wide would you be here?

I'd say fold as well, get it in at a better spot against shorty's. I'd go super tight here like KK/AA and maybe AKs if Btn was doing this a few hands in a row. But I just play by instinct.... :f_biggrin:

This is pretty close imo. FT bubble means nothing, only the money bubble matters so jaggedlinks KK/AA range is really bad. You should be calling A9/66 here against a reg and possibly wider depending on your read on villain. Vs a really good reg I would call KQ but a fold is good without a solid read.

if player is not super lose i fold here!
also if wiz says that this is a close call! you don't know his shoving range here without 2 many hands!

A9 and 66 is completely terrible. This is a 15bb shove. If you calculate the average stack of the 6 players left on the other table, then make it a 10-handed spot which you can put into wiz on $ev, it's barely break even vs 100% range excluding top hands. I'm never wider than 88/AJ here.
