Villain wasn't very good, had him fold previously to a 3 barrel so when he checks the river here I put him on a very weak range I could get him to fold out. Was my sizing right through this hand? Specifically on the river?

I feel like 450-500 may have forced the fold

just a mind set thing i really avoid criticizing peoples play when it works, and rather criticize myself for not exploiting. so is his call bad?usually yh but your 3 barrel is for sure worse.

flop cbet is ok unless he doesnt fold to cbets.

turn barrel i think is horrible, no equity and its not really a scarecard. he might be afraid of the Q but he might also think you´d bluff it a lot, and actually hard to rep a Q cos usually you wont bet it for value or at least people wont expect it.

the third barrel i think is actually ok to fold midle pairs if you dont have a horrible image or he isnt a station. i think sizing is enought to fold 7x 8x ( but if he isnt folding 7x on the turn why bet the turn with no equity ?)

Yea good point, I haven't thought about it that way.

Need to learn to give up when I have no outs whatsoever

Hello,

felipe is mostly correct, but as a default I am always second barreling this turn card. Often people aren't thinking in terms of "Q is a great second barrel because I don't have an ace very often and its a second overcard to a potential 8 or 7 that my hand looks like" which would be correct, but rather "hurrr durrr, I only have 3rd/4th pair now, and he bets twice, so maybe I should fold" as well as we can get value from draws that do not check/raise the flop.

Given you have history of him triple barreling once already, I would be less inclined to barrel this board/runout. If we believe he is a semi-thinking (nitty?) player river is a fine triple barrel, but after you've triple barreled him successfully once I doubt he's looking for reasons to fold much on the river.
