Flop bet sizing was fine, maybe a little big given how dry the board is. Sometimes betting smaller here causes someone to spew and bluffraise.

The only issue I have with this hand is that you should have bet full pot on the turn.

When you bet this dry flop and get called, villain has to have "something", that is at least a gutshot straight to go with whatever else. Maybe something like 9875 or QQT8.

So on the turn it is perfectly feasible to imagine villain might have picked up a flush draw or 2 pair with a hand like AJT8. If villain hasn't picked up a draw he will fold no matter what he bets, but you need to charge him if he does have a flush draw now.

I understand why you folded the river and I can't really blame you for that, if anything your opponent was extremely bad for calling your bet on the flop given he has 2 outs to the nuts.

It's a river bet he can only make with the nuts or at least 2 blockers to the nuts (as he held) so I don't actually think he bluffs in this spot all that often. I am more worried about you not charging the max on the turn. I think I fold the river as well here enough of the time if I don't have a read on my opponent that he will make moves like this.
