rebluffing in unraised pot

Well much can be said about this hand. First and safe option is to just fold flop. Pot is supersmall and even if you do have enough equity to continue you are doing but a small mistake and since its the first hand at the table I kindda preffer it.

Sure you can also continue but in this case you have to bluff at some point.

One way is to raise directly on the flop.In this case you have to be aware of two things.Such play is usually very unbalanced since I assume you dont really raise many value hands in such spots and decent players can very profitably 3bet you here with anything. Since oponent is most likely not good and its the first hand I however like this bluffing option the most. Once you get called I would check back on the turn and take a freecard. He called your flop raise so he most likely doesnt have just nothing and since its the first hand I would assume him to be quite SD bound with pairs. As played betting is not terrible I just think its not gonna be profitable enough. River Im definatelly checking.Once he calls turn he always has a made hand and it seems optimistic he will fold any of it 1:6

Other option is to just float flop.I like this option a lot but vs players I know at least a bit about how they play big streets.Vs decent players call looks much stronger on board like this actually since you have a ton of hands that will call this board with intention of seeing SD one way or another.And its not just vs decent player,also just players who are passive but are able to think at least a bit and they will not just mindlessly bet turn again.So vs such player floating is way less expencive and often much more efficient so call flop and when they check turn you bet and you will get many many folds.still I preffer players I think I can exploit in this manner.

But what about hands like 56, 86, 85... those will fold if i bet the river.

Ok,yes these hand are in his range but if we look at his entire range will 56,68 really be there often enough(you are bluffing 1:5 so it has to be around 17%) and I wouldnt count other gutshots I dont see them paying of turn often enough(in other words if we do count them we should also count possible AA,set or other slowplay stuff he will sometimes have but this should cancel each other out at least to some degree)

so...if you give him a bounch of 7x,4x,few Ax and maybe some 9x that he picked on turn you will find SDs and few FDs represent 17% of his range...

...that is another reason why I dont like betting turn u are very often put in these shitty river spots in small pots where bluffs have to work more often and they dont.
