Cash game, live, NL 1$ - 1$ the blinds, 9 handed, everybody folds to the CO who raises to 7 ( loose aggressive player with a 150$ stack ), the button ( tight aggressive with 150$ stack ) calls the bet. I was BB with 6d 7d and I decide to re-raise to 20$ ( and 55$ behind ) and the both call.
FLOP 7s 8d Td
BB ( me ) Check, CO Check, BU - 18$, I push all in, 55$, the CO calls and the initial raiser folds...
TURN 2c
RIVER Kd
CO player shows Ad Qd
Please tell me your opinion about this, maybe the re-raise was too crazy, but what do you do if you decide to call the raise and you see the flop?!
Thanks !
No offence sir, this hand was played terribly and if I saw this at the table I would immediatly label you as a fish.
Firstly, is the 1/2 or 1/1. Your post says its 1/1 but the thread title says its 1/2.
Ok, lets look at preflop first and lets assume its 1/2.
-With your stack size, the standard play is to fold pre
-You described villain as "loose agressive". Does this mean that you think he is competant agressive player or that he is a spewtard. Also what is your image?
If you are going to 3bet, just go Allin for $75, but only do this if you think he will fold a decent percentage of the time which is true of a very small percentage of live poker players IME (they dont raise/fold much pre in general).
Postflop (as played) just ship the flop. You have $55 and the pot is $61 (assuming no rake) making this a standard shove. This is one of the best flops you can hit with your hand so lets get them monies in and gamble (and perhaps occasionally get them to fold better hands which would be awesome).
