Hello all,

Have recently started playing again after a bit of a hiatus from Poker (guess WSOP fever has hit me again).

The table became a little short through various situations so I raised from the button to take the blinds. So the villain 3-bets from the BB, I was considering what to do but in the end thought A8s wasn't strong enough for a 4-bet.

I'd consider the villain to be passive, open limping and in an earlier hand limped UTG and called my PFR with suited connectors.

Hand was converted using Tonnek's Cake hand converter
0.02/0.04 (7 handed)
Known Players:
[tg]MP1$1.93:///////;MP2$3.78:///////;MP3$3.91:///////;CO$6.58:///////;BU(Hero)$2.04:///////;SB$3.65:///////;BB$3.71:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: ($0.06) Hero is BU with A:d 8:d.
MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero raises to 0.12, SB folds, BB raises to 0.25, Hero folds

Thanks!

Hi Jdz,

Welcome back to the pokertables :)

We steal A:d8:d as a bluff preflop and without any info about him, we are just going to fold on a reraise because it makes no sense to continue with an inferior hand

If Villain is passive, this becomes an even easier fold :)

Best regards,
Gerv
