Hi!
BU 27/24/52 hands No FT3b stat

villain seems like an agressive reg, my plan OTT was to c/shove. Is this ok?

My reasoning was to let him bet his floats that he otherwise folds to a second barrel, maybe fold out his bigger FDs or better Tx, but I think he would usually raise flop with say KdQd, AdQd.

I didn't like the idea of betting too much since he never folds better & I don't think any worse calls again. Also I would check river UI & he can easily turn worse into a bluff.

Once he bets so small though my plan kinda goes out the window & I think I just have to call with my immediate odds. Probably c/f river UI.

But against a bet of say ~$5.5 do you like c/r?

BTN: $26.56 (106.2 bb)
Hero (SB): $25.90 (103.6 bb)
BB: $37.31 (149.2 bb)
UTG: $103.19 (412.8 bb)
MP: $33.41 (133.6 bb)
CO: $27.44 (109.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T J
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, BTN calls $1.75

Flop: ($5.25) 4 T 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.80, BTN calls $2.80

Turn: ($10.85) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.25, Hero?

Hello dannywratten,

Guess I'd be turning my hand into bluff-catcher right on the flop to avoid him raising vs us as you said he is aggressive. But otherwise of course just Check/Call the turn, we ain't making worse hands to fold by Check/Raising.

Best Regards.
