I'm new to this site. Not so new to poker. I have had a few years experience online and starting to play some live events now. I belong to a few forums and am always looking for more input to improve in poker.
I joined the forum because I was at the casino and the guy beside me told me about it and I thought I would join to see what it was about.

Who was your mystery friend that introduced you? Anyone we might know? Always nice to have people who play a lot live around the forums give their input and usually live players bring back quite a few funny stories with them do you have any for us? What kind of events are you playing?

WSOPhock was the person that told me about the site. I had position on him at the table last night. Not sure how active he is on this site, it was 3:30am so I was pretty much done playing for the night.
I actually haven't played that many events. Every year I go to Vegas and play some small buyin turbos and this year I said I was going to play the ladies wsop some how. I am a micro player online and I felt like the buyin was high for me so I sold some of my action at no markup to make sure I could play. The day before the event I played a LIPS sat at the golden nugget and also won my seat into the game as a bonus. After two and a half days I ended up 7th in event #51.
The next game I plan to play is the Stardust game in Montreal over Labour day weekend.
