3beter is 12/9 3.6 over 2k hands sample, he is good reg. I know him well, we chat some , evaluate some hands together.

If I played like that, maybe I should have folded preflop? I mean, check here looks strong, though I don't know how he plays his hands in 3bet pots.

How should I have played?

dont fold pre-flop. he can definitely just be messing with you because you know each other. i like the flat call. i think 4betting without any 4bet history isnt profitable. i would also flat AA/KK btw.

check does look WEIRD to me on the flop. I would expect him to cbet all his air on this flop. I like your turn fold. I'm pretty confident he just has slowplayed KK/AA or AK
