PokerStars - $0.50/$1 (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: $44.65
UTG: $17.75
BTN: $31.38
Hero (SB): $12.00

Hero posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has A♥ 7♣

fold, BTN raises to $1.00, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, BTN calls $0.50

Flop: ($3.50, 2 players) Q♠ 5♣ 2♦
Hero bets $0.50, BTN calls $0.50

Turn: ($4.50, 2 players) 3♠
Hero checks, BTN checks

This hand is vs good solid PS.com TAG-lagish? player.

I should still bet his range on the Turn, but somehow I don't know if I should second barrel, if I do I open myself to be bluffed out of best hand, but in x/c mode I think he ll just barrel once and give up on River all non pair hands.

Don't know how to aproach this spot.

River: ($4.50, 2 players) 3♣
Hero checks, BTN checks

I would bet again yes. He peels with enough Kx JTs T9 combos that he's going to fold and he'll certainly just raise with A4 a set and Qx. Ain't that many combinations. But check/call is fine as well as you protect against hands he could be taking a freecard with but on the other side you won't get any better hand to fold and you prevent yourself from facing a turnraise. So check/call is ok and with no reads i'd c/c River again. With a good read c/f River is reasonable as well because he's supposed to anticipate a check/call from you on the River. Which means => he should just bet value hands => You should fold weak Ax hands.

This spot is close and i think a mixture between check/calling and bet/calling and folding the River is a good approach. What about the others? What's your line? :)
