Hello, after the check raise by the villain on the flop is it time to give up the hand as he probably has a set or push hoping he has Jx? The villain was unknown

Hi,

most of the times if you´re beat then only against 66. If player is unknown then I would not fold my hand and would likely shove- if he is c/r there for value AJ or have somehow overpairs then he would very likely call your shove. Also if you call and river is blank then you´re not really getting away your hand and would mostly loose your stack to sets

best regards,
