I don't really understand why you didn't bet this flop. You could probably take the pot easily by betting here, even if you have a weak kicker. You don't want to check that flop and see villain hitting a straight/2 pairs/etc. Hero might not have AA-AK because he "just" called preflop.

i dont think there is much value in betting such a dry flop vs this particular villain. i like checking back to induce bluffs, or for villain to vbet t/r with worse Ax or strong Jx. with flop check back you just have to call t/r as there are lots of worse hands villain bets for value, and tons of busted draws that he picked up on the turn.

Hello xero100,

Bet the flop for value instead of turning hand into bluff-catcher like that. Doubt that he is going to end up having huge amount of bluffs on the river. :(
