Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

UTG: $53.44 (106.9 bb)
MP: $38.67 (77.3 bb)
CO: $80.14 (160.3 bb)
BTN: $55.91 (111.8 bb)
Hero (SB): $51.11 (102.2 bb)
BB: $47.55 (95.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K J
3 folds, BTN raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $5, BB calls $4.50, BTN folds

Flop: ($11.25) 8 A 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, BB raises to $10, Hero folds

Anon table.

BTN is a reg, BB is unknown as I remember.
Flop? I dont have much equity, but the board is pretty dry, and he could fold some pockets.

Hey,

Don't you think $5 is a bit too much? $4.5 seems enough pre.
3Betting KJo is good though ;)

Def. CB this flop... I'm not sure if my plan is to barrel. I think I'd barrel T/J and maybe K turns but only if he has a pretty high w$sd. Thoughts about that mister veriz?

Hello pcfmcc02,

Doubt that there is going to be any point to barrel the turn after we get called on the flop, cause I practically don't see him calling that loose against us on such a flop, so I wouldn't barrel any of those cards. Nor as hero said he has 0 information about W$SD.

Best Regards.

But what about flop play? Doesn't our opponent have a lot of Ax hands in his range and shouldn't we thus just check here since it is difficult to 2nd barrel on this board profitably + he may even not fold his TT–QQ to one bet on the flop.

He ain't even fully stacked so he could have a lot of hands in his range and even PPs which may still play fit/Fold whilst our line is also stronger.
