Hero checks, BB checks, MP3 bets $0.08, Hero raises to $0.40, BB folds, MP3 calls $0.16

Results:

Spoiler

$0.82 pot ($0.04 rake)
Final Board: 8 K 3 6 5
BB mucked and lost (-$0.10 net)
MP3 showed Q T and lost (-$0.34 net)
Hero showed 7 A and won $0.78 ($0.44 net)

Leaving the probably dodgy preflop call as the small blind aside :P

My feeling on the turn is that mp3 has hit the flush, or has a set (8s, 3s, 6s) I think I can make an ev+ play with implied odds in the event I hit my flush despite mp3 being shortstacked. Did I play this well?

Hello pauln,

The problem is that you might not even have implied odds on the turn anymore. Thereofre might need to fold whilst BB is also to act and few other guys.

Though as played the river either Check/Raise it bigger or donk it out on the river to avoid Check behinds.

Best Regards.
