NL10 AKs, c-bet in 3bet pot?

im definitely not an expert to judge, but im curious why are u 4 betting to take the betting lead preflop and dont cbet on the flop... isnt that the idea of 4bet if u are OOP post flop to being the agressor?

First I don't like your 4bet with AK against his 3bet range. He's just so tight and has position.

Ofc I understand that it's not a bad play to 4bet either since we have a decent hand and is OOP. However, I think it's just better calling here and try to see the flop with higher SPR. His 3bet range is too narrow that we could outplay him on many flop textures. Say you just called his 3bet preflop and then comes that flop. That's a pretty bad flop for his range right? The point is, it is better to represent a wider range preflop against a very tight 3betr.

Anyway, I think a big cbet is a good choice here. About 80% to pot-size bet to represent QQ+. Villain will surely think twice about a C/R bluff since we have committed a big portion of our stack. If he calls, most likely he's got JJ,QQ, or maybe AKs that he's not comfortable 5bet shoving pre. But, all non J, Q, spade cards on the turn are still good for us to 2nd barrel or shove. So we're not dead yet ♦

However, if he elects to a flop check/raise, ofc you have to fold.
