SB is a 'winning reg' who got 20+ 3-bet percentage and I thought he is full of shit. Have in mind that he knows I'm a reg and he knows 'our 4-bet range' while I mostly 4-bet with QQ+ depending on the situation except in this case against him.

What should his calling range be here and how would you rate his call?

Hi all,

Well your range is pretty uncapped because I doubt you are simply calling here with KK or AA vs his 3bet (although this is an adjustment you can make). You're also putting in the last bet, so you can easily have 4bet bluff shoves. If I was in his shoes and I had been 3betting you a lot, I would expect you to have a range that looked something like 22+ A2s+ ATo+ KJs+ KQo QTs+ 87s+.

With that in mind:

1. I wouldn't 3bet QTs, I'd just fold it preflop.
2. Still an easy fold vs the all-in.

Thanks for a quick reply. There is no way that he could have put me on such a wide range because it wasn't me who he was 3-betting earlier and I couldn't have been retaliating. Also, every time I 4-bet shoved, I shoved QQ+ on such a blind level, it's 15/30.

So if it would be an easy fold on such a huge range then, yeah...

If that's your range then he has a profitable 3bet/fold with any two cards IMO.
