Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is SB with XX
3 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls

Flop: (6 SB) 6 :spade: 7 :club: T  (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls

Turn: (5 BB) X (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls

River: (7 BB) A :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets/checks

Hey guys,

Something a little different here, the question is: I believe in some situations on a river A donkchecking our entire range after a flop c/r is necessary. The question is, which turncards will/won't make us donkcheck our entire range in this spot?

Probably in some rare situations, but I think these situations are too rare. I think betting with 77 there is much better than trying to c/r, especially on the Ace. It will look like a bluff card for many people (so they will call you light), it will make some people valueraise you with Ax or turn something into bluffraise.

So I definitely like betting this river with a good valuehand. With mediocre hands like Tx, 7x I'm happy to check and take it from there, and with bluffs (54s?) you can give up as well I think.. So it will become a bit unbalanced but I think villains don't think that you're only betting with solid value hands there. Imo

So I would say no turncard will make me to check my entire range there. I haven't met a villain against whom I would like it.. but I'm usually avoiding regs as much as possible so that might be the cause.
