$1 Turbo HU 44 BB

This was the first hand of a turbo HU against an unknown player, the preflop defend seemed pretty standard since a lot of flops are unappealing for a small pair so a 3b doesn't seem such a good option. As chances are the villain would be cbetting most flops i don't see any way i could fold on the flop, i checked the turn OOP on a blank since i wanted to keep the pot small, the overbet on the river looked weak to me as if they were trying to push me off a marginal hand.
As played, was the river a good call or what could i have changed prior to the river?

Hi all,

I like the whole hand as played. I don't like folding very much when our opponent just reps so little.
