SB: $2.37 (59.3 bb)
MP: $5.02 (125.5 bb)
UTG: $8.52 (213 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6 6
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.08, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.18) 6 A A (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $0.09, Hero raises to $0.30, MP folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.36 pot ($0.01 rake)
Final Board: 6 A A
Hero mucked 6 6 and won $0.35 ($0.18 net)
MP mucked and lost (-$0.17 net)

villain is TAG over 170 hands, Afq is 50 or so.

i'm not sure if i played this hand too quickly. he calls Ax hands but i think he folds FDs and every other hand. do you think i could check call down to the river and check/raise? i don't like check calling down since villain could check back the river especially if draws come in...

Hi DrDunne,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Ax will go broke there with us (or put a lot of money in anyway) so we want to look at maximizing value versus the rest of his range.

So calling flop and either betting turn or ck/raising turn may be better especially if we expect him to be aggro and bet a lot on the turn.
